Due to the ongoing corona virus outbreak, the GPs have taken the decision to close to doors to avoid people walking in. The surgery is not and has never been closed, we are trying to limit the number of people coming into the building.
If you need to see a doctor you will need to call the surgery first and a GP will call you back to discuss the issue. If you have an appointment with the nurse for wound dressing, immunisation, INR etc, you may be called by a nurse on the day of your appointment to check you are well. If you do need to entere the building for an apointment, in line with Welsh Government advice, we request that you wear a 3 layer face covering and wear it so that it covers your face an nose.
If you or a member of your household have either :
- New persistant Cough
- High temperature
- Loss of taste or smell
DO NOT come to the surgery. Self isolate for 14 days. If your symptoms get worse, use the NHS symptoms checker https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 befroe you call 111.
If you live alone, you only need to self isolate for 7 days.
The GPs have taken the decision to only allow access to patients who have been triaged over the telephone. If you need an appointment, please call the surgery on 029 20 566 291 to arrange a telephone call back.
