Corona-virus – please read

People visiting the surgery are still expected to wear a face covering as it is classed as a healthcare setting, unless they are exempt. Face covering should consist of 3 layers that covers your nose and mouth.

If you or any of your family have symptoms of COVID-19 and have tested positive with an LFT you should self-isolate, but it is no longer a legal requirement.

The minimum isolation period is 5 days.  You should take an LFT on day 5 and another the following day.  If both are negative and you do not have a high temperature, you can leave isolation.

If you still have a high temperature on day 5, you should continue to isolate until it has returned to normal.

If the LFTs are still positive on day 5 and 6 continue to isolate until you have 2 negative LFT tests in a row or get to day 10.

Free NHS LFTs are no longer available for the general public who do not have any symptoms.  For those with symptoms or who have been advised by a medical professional to get a test, they can order them by calling 119 or going online

Prescription: In order to help us reduce the number of people who need to come into the surgery during the Covid-19 outbreak, please nominate a pharmacy you would like to collect your prescription from and inform the surgery and the pharmacy.  The pharmacy can then make arrangements to collect the prescription from the surgery.  Alternatively, please attach as stamped self-addressed envelop to your prescription request.

Prescription requests can be posted into the letter box on the front gates.
