GP Training

We are a training practice, which means we have fully qualified doctors attached to us for further training in General Practice. The practice also teaches undergraduate Medical Students. Patients are informed if a medical student will be present during a consultation.

Nurses

There are two Practice Nurses and a Health Care Assistant, who cover all our nursing procedures, minor illness, travel clinics and provide health promotion advice.

Oversees the administration of the Practice. His job is to ensure the smooth running of the Practice, and he would value any comments you may have which could improve the service we offer you.

Administrators

There are 11 administrators, led by the Office Manager receive telephone calls, make appointments and assist the doctors in all aspects of administration.

Attached Staff

Health Visitors, District Nurses and Midwives

Are attached to the Practice and can be contacted through the health centre.

Mental Health Liaison Service

Deal with all types of mental health issues.  Patients can self-refer via reception without needing to see a GP first.

Physiotherapy first point of contact

Deals muscular and skeletal issues prior to being referred into the physiotherapy service where necessary. Patients can self-refer via reception without needing to see a GP first.
